Prices were up 4.7% in December, down from 5.1% the previous month.

The S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller U.S. National Home Price NSA Index, out Tuesday morning, reported a 4.7% annual gain in December, down from 5.1% in the previous month and the ninth consecutive month of decelerating price gains.
